Master's Course |

|
To enroll in this course, applicants are required to pass the entrance examination. Around 30 students annually enroll in the masters course.
Curriculum: Students must complete more than seven lectures, an advanced seminar, an advanced seminar II/ laboratory, and an advanced research in general. In the case of studying as a person with a permanent position in any body, such as local government, private company, or NGO, such students could complete more than six lectures, the advanced seminar I, and the advanced seminar II/ laboratory.

Program in Human Environment |

This program aims to explore the human environment on the bases of ethics, religion, anthropology, literature, psychology and human health, sports and food sciences, and seeking environment-conscious life styles. |
Program in Social Environment |

This program aims to explore the environment, especially focusing on interactions among humans, societies, and nature, challenging the integration of environmental concerns with social development, on the bases of political science, economics, education, sociology, natural science, and engineering. |
Program in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Natural History |
|
This program aims to search for a desirable coexistence between humans and nature, from the viewpoints of biodiversity, conservation, and their sustainable uses. The program focuses on field studies of the natural environment, using the research facilities of Hyogo Prefecture such as the Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Homeland for the Oriental White Stork, and the Wildlife Management Research Center. |
